But the righteous women are those who are devout, who are guardians of the unseen by that which Allah has guarded it. (The Quran, chapter The Women, 4:34)
Guardians of the Unseen workshop is based on Imam Fode's newly released book. The goal of the workshop aims to define in all simplicity the role God has assigned to women and men in the scheme of the purpose of creation. As God describes women, they are the guardians. What is the guardianship? What do they guard? What is the relationship between guardianship and prophethood?

About the Workshop
In a world filled with shifting narratives, true clarity comes from engaging directly with the Divine word. Using Surah An-Nisa (4:34) as a focal point, Imam Fode Drame will guide participants through the linguistic nuances, historical context, and ethical implications of being "guardians of the unseen."
This retreat moves beyond superficial readings to uncover the theological and character-building dimensions of protection, mutual care, authority, and dignity within family and community life.
